ERASMUS Application

In order to apply for the Erasmus period at the University of Foggia, incoming students have to be nominated by their home university.

Partner universities should email the following data to erasmus@unifg.it by 15th June (for 1st semester and full year) and by 30th november (for 2nd semester):

  • Home University (Erasmus code)
  • Name
  • Surname
  • Date of birth
  • Place of birth (Country and town/city)
  • E-mail
  • Period of study (1st or 2nd semester, or full year)
  • Area of study (isced code)
  • Level of study (BA, MA, PhD)

Starting from Mid-May, Incoming students will get by e-mail the access for the on-line application form, if and when they are officially nominated by their University.

Application Deadlines:

Deadline 1° Semester/Full year students: 30th June
Deadline 2° Semester: 15th December

Accomodation

The University of Foggia helps foreign students look for lodging, thanks to the support given by the Erasmus Student Network of Foggia section, which takes it upon itself to contact landlords. Nevertheless, such search may take some days, depending on the needs and the budget available: students are therefore keenly invited to look for alternative accommodation in a hotel and/or bed and breakfast for the first few days.

Once in Foggia, you have to meet your Erasmus Faculty Coordinator to check the Learning Agreement with the up-to-date academic offer and the course timetable.

Italian Language Course

Foreign students are keenly invited to attend the free Italian language courses organised by the University Language Centre (CLA: Centro Linguistico Universitario), which are offered from the beginning of the first and second term.

All those students who attend the course and pass the final exam will be given 3 ECTS credits by the University of Foggia.

Those students who intend to attend the language course are invited to include it in their Learning Agreement with the following phrase: “Italian language course for Erasmus students at CLA”.

If it is required, please email erasmus@unifg.it, asking for the Letter of Admission to be posted to your home University.
