The Department for International Relations at the University of Foggia is pleased to invite to join the sixth Edition of the Erasmus+ Staff Week, which will be held between 22 and 26 June 2020 in Vieste (FG).

Staff members from different university departments and offices are welcome (International Office, Finance, ICT, Students Affairs, HR, etc...) and/or professional academics.


The sixth Edition of the Erasmus+ Staff Week 2020 will give participants a unique opportunity to find out more about our University, go on networking and exchange and share best practice.
The main purpose is to promote the idea of internationalization and strengthen out international partnership through personal meetings. The 5-day programme include presentations, round table discussions, problem-solving cases and social events.

The programme most relevant objectives include networking, transfer of knowledge and sharing of experiences and best practices among colleagues from partner and non-partner institutions. Participants are expected to bring examples from their own institutions and introduce best practices or innovative approaches on specific issues about international relations. In addition, participants will have the chance to go on a guided tour of Vieste, and discover the sea caves.

Vieste - Hotel I Melograni

The relevant event is organized by the Department of International Relations at the University of Foggia and it will be held at I Melograni Hotel in Vieste. 

Vieste is a wonderful seaside destination in the Apulia region (Southern Italy), the area covered by the municipality is part of the Gargano National Park.  It boasts long beaches and a historic medieval centre full of ancient houses, eateries, cafes, bars and craft shops.

Vieste rises on a rocky promontory that divides the Gargano coast into two parts. Rocks have slowly crumbled into the sea, producing one of Italy's most beautiful stretches of coastline, with hidden bays, marine caves, tall, white cliffs, sandy beaches and forests of pine trees.
